Terms of service
Short, because the service is small and the obligations are few.
By using Selat you agree to these terms. Last updated 23 August 2026. Selat is operated by the individual developer who operates Selat, in Indonesia.
What Selat does
Selat holds credentials for apps you connect and exposes them to your agent as tools over MCP and REST. It acts on your instruction. It does not decide what to call, and it does not call anything on its own.
Your account and your credentials
You are responsible for the gateway credentials you create and for what is done with them. A credential is shown once and stored only as a hash, so if you lose it, the remedy is to revoke it and mint another. Revoke one the moment you think it has leaked.
Apps you connect
Connect only accounts you are entitled to use. Each upstream has its own terms and its own limits, and they continue to apply to everything Selat does on your behalf. If a vendor suspends or revokes your access, Selat cannot restore it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Selat to reach accounts or data you do not control, to work around a vendor limit, or to attempt to reach another workspace’s connections or data. Do not use it to send unlawful content or to build something whose purpose is harm. Accounts doing any of these can be suspended without notice.
Availability
There is no uptime commitment. Providers are labelled by maturity in the catalog, and nothing is marked stable yet, so behaviour can change while a provider is below that mark. Selat runs on one server, and it is honest to say so rather than imply redundancy that does not exist.
Payment
Selat is free while it is in beta and takes no payment details today. If that changes, it changes with notice, and no existing workspace is charged for a period it has already used.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by disconnecting your apps and deleting your workspace, which deletes the data described in the privacy policy. Selat can end an account for a breach of the acceptable use section above.
No warranty, and the limit of liability
Selat is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything a connected upstream does or fails to do. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid for the service, which today is nothing.
Changes and governing law
These terms can change, and the date at the top changes with them. They are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
